a sad goodbye

I am cancer free, so really, it doesn’t make sense to keep writing on this blog.  There are other huge trials in my life, so I may write about them one day, but for now, God is working in me in the closet of secluded time with Him.  It isn’t something that can be shared with people right now.  How can I explain what He is doing in my heart?  He is taking me through the deep waters in His ways.

I have enjoyed writing and sharing with you.  If you want to visit me someday at another blog, you can let me know in the comments and when/if I start another one, I will let you know (if that is possible).

And my heart is full of gratitude for your prayers over the last few years.  I thank God for you!  It has been a humbling thing to be prayed for by people from across the world.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.  He is such a dear Shepherd!

  1. Am I too late? I haven’t read your blog in awhile, but I’d love to stay in touch.

I thank God for the work He’s done in and through you! I have a yahoo email address for you that looks like it might be a family one. Is that a good way to stay in touch with you?

  3. Christine, I’m sure thankful for all the many ways the Lord has provided for you, directed you, worked in and through you, gifted you with faith and hope, and, of course, health!
I pray for this new deep water journey to be met with the same faith, tenacity and trusting dependence on the Lord and in His will. I rejoice in advance that He will carry you through this, and if the outcome is not what you’re hopeful for today, that you will rejoice at the better thing God has for you… a harder peace, maybe, but a better peace. You’re precious to many, and your life has made a difference.

    1. Thank you for all the praying for me! What a sweet gift! I am thankful God has been with me too. And if I start a new blog it will be titled “through the valley of the shadow of death”. I fear no evil because He is with me! Ps. 23:4

  5. Dear Christine – Praise God for His healing you of cancer. It has been a long journey and I have been blessed and encouraged by  your story. May the Lord continue to hold you close. And, yes, keep in touch. We are retired on Camano and learning how to stay home and spend more quiet times with God. Blessings, Elaine
